IFPCAdapter2::GetPrimaryGateway method

The GetPrimaryGateway method gets the primary default gateway of the network adapter.

Syntax

HRESULT GetPrimaryGateway(
  [out]  BSTR *pVal
);

FPCAdapter.GetPrimaryGateway( _
  ByRef pVal As BSTR _
) As String

Parameters

  • pVal [out]
    Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the primary default gateway of the network adapter.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

The primary default gateway of the network adapter can be set by calling the SetPrimaryGateway method.
