IFPCAdapter2::SetPrimarySubnetMask method

The SetPrimarySubnetMask method sets the primary subnet mask of an FPCAdapter.

Parameters
newVal [in]
C++ Required. BSTR that specifies the primary subnet mask to set for the network adapter.
VB Required. String that specifies the primary subnet mask to set for the network adapter.
Return value
C++
This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
VB
This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
Remarks
The current primary subnet mask of the network adapter can be retrieved by calling the GetPrimarySubnetMask method.
