IFPCAlert::Password property

The Password property sets the password in the credentials supplied for command-line actions.

This property is write-only.

String that specifies the password.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is write-only.

The credentials specified by the UserName and Password properties can be used to restrict the privileges of commands invoked by the alert service. For example, an account could be created with appropriate permissions, and the user name and password of that account could then be used by the FPCAlert object. The account used must have the Logon as Batch Job permission.

The UserName and Password properties are used only for actions that run programs.
