IFPCChangeTracking::WriteLogToFile method

The WriteLogToFile method writes the change tracking log to a specified file.

Syntax

HRESULT WriteLogToFile(
  [in]  BSTR FileName,
  [in]  String FileName
);

  ByVal FileName As String _
)

Parameters

  • FileName [in]

    C++

    BSTR that specifies the name of the file to which the change tracking log will be written.
    VB

    String that specifies the name of the file to which the change tracking log will be written.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

The file created will be in XML format, encoded with the UTF-8 character set.
