IFPCPublicNames::Add method

The Add method adds a public name to the collection. Public names can be DNS names and IP addresses that are resolved to the internal address of a Web server through a Web publishing rule.

Syntax

HRESULT Add(
  [in]  BSTR Name
);

FPCPublicNames.Add( _
  ByVal Name As String _
)

Parameters

  • Name [in]

    C++ BSTR that specifies the public name.
    VB String that specifies the public name.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
