IFPCSmtpProtectionStatus::GetAntivirusEngineVersion method

The GetAntivirusEngineVersion method gets the current version of the specified email antivirus engine.

Syntax

Parameters

  • Engine [in]

    C++

    Required. Value from the FpcMailAntivirusEngine enumerated type that specifies the type of antivirus engine.
    VB

    Required. Value from the FpcMailAntivirusEngine enumerated type that specifies the type of antivirus engine.

  • pVersion [out]
    Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value indicating the current version of the specified antivirus engine.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method returns a string value that indicates the current version of the specified antivirus engine if successful. Otherwise, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
