Parameters

requestUuid
A Guid object that identifies the FIM CM request.

challengeString
The challenge issued by the base CSP card.

Return Value

A String object that contains the response to the provided challenge string. The response is calculated based on the key that the FIM CM has for that particular card.

Remarks

The response is calculated based on the key (potentially a diversified key) that FIM CM has for the card. The challenge is issued by the card and the response, generated by this function call, should be passed to the card in the same session. The card should accept the response and thereby authenticate you to the card.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
