Property Value

A String that represents approvers for the activity. The property can contain the ObjectID attribute values of Set objects, Person objects, or lookup parameters, all separated by commas.

Remarks

The property is a String value that contains the ObjectID attribute values of Group resources, Person resources, or lookup parameters, all separated by commas. The lookup parameters are resolved at runtime and are assigned to be valid approvers for this particular approval instance. If a group is part of the Approvers property, an e-mail notification is sent to that group’s e-mail address at execution time. If no e-mail address for the group is available, each person in the group receives the e-mail message directly. The approver for a group is any person who is a part of that group throughout that approval’s lifetime. If a member who was a part of a group that is assigned as an approver leaves that group, they can no longer approve a request that is assigned to that group. A person who joins a group after an approval has been assigned to that group cannot approve on behalf of that group.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
