Remarks

If the any of the conditions that are enforced by the validation activity are violated as part of a request, it will result in the termination of the containing authorization workflow. The activity enforces conditions defined within FIM and prevents illegal active directory operations from being carried out as part of a request. When this behavior is enabled then any operations that would result in a known error in Active Directory will result in the workflow being terminated.

This activity operates in the execution context of the Forefront Identity Manager Service Account. The execution context of out-of-box FIM activities cannot be modified.
