IVMHardDisk::Type property

The Type property contains the type of the current hard disk image.

This property is read-only.

The type of the current hard disk image.

This property value is read-only.

Error codes

Name Meaning
S_OK
 The operation was successful.
E_POINTER
 The parameter is NULL.
E_FILE_NOT_FOUND
 The current hard disk image file could not be found.
VM_E_PREF_READ_ERROR
 The preferences for the current hard disk image could not be read.
VM_E_DRIVE_INVALID
 The type of the current hard disk image is invalid.
VM_E_HD_IMAGE_OPEN_FAIL
 An error occurred while attempting to open the current hard disk image file.
VM_E_HD_IMAGE_ACCESS
 An error occurred while attempting to access the current hard disk image file.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION
 An unexpected error occurred.
