IVMVirtualMachine::Keyboard property

The Keyboard property contains the keyboard device for the virtual machine.

This property is read-only.

Syntax

Property value

The VMKeyboard object associated with this virtual machine.

This property value is read-only.

Error codes

Name	Meaning
S_OK	The operation was successful.
E_POINTER	The keyboard parameter is NULL.
VM_E_VM_UNKNOWN	The configuration is unknown.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION	An unexpected error has occurred.

Examples

The following example accesses the VMKeyboard object of a VMVirtualMachine object and sends a text string to the VM.

Set objVM = objVS.FindVirtualMachine("Windows Server 2003")
Set objKeyboard = objVM.Keyboard
