Chime Sample Application

The chime sample application demonstrates many features of the Microsoft Server Appliance Kit.

To install the sample application

  1. Run installchime.cmd from the SDK installation point, located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Server Appliance Kit\SDK\ by default.

  2. Locate the Web site https://localhost:8099 using your browser.

    Note   The WBEM provider in the sample application, chimeprov.cpp, requires the fwcommon.h file to be compiled. This file can be obtained by installing the WMI SDK, which is available at this Microsoft Web site.

To uninstall the sample application

  1. Run uninstallchime.cmd from the SDK installation point, located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Server Appliance Kit\SDK\ by default.
  2. Locate the Web site https://localhost:8099 in your browser.
