Creating and Modifying a Module Mix for the Windows CE Stress Tool (Windows CE 5.0)

You can use the Windows CE Stress tool to create and modify a custom mix of test modules. By default, the Windows CE Stress tool runs all of the test modules that the target device supports. You can add or remove test modules prior to a test run.

To create a custom mix of test modules

  1. Run the Windows CE Stress tool, but do not start a test.

    For information about starting the Windows CE Stress tool, see Running the Windows CE Stress Tool.

  2. Choose Show Options.

  3. From the Module Mix box, choose New Custom Mix.

  4. In the Enter Custom Mix Name box, type a name for the module mix.

  5. To add a mix or test module to your custom module mix, in the Available Modules tree view, double-click on a mix or test module

    - or -

    To remove a test module from your custom module mix, under Custom Mix Modules, double-click on the module.

  6. Choose OK to save your custom module mix.

With the Windows CE Stress tool, you can edit test module information. You can also modify the command-line parameters for the modules that the Windows CE Test Kit (CETK) provides. For more information about command lines for test modules, see Test Modules for the Windows CE Stress Tool.

To modify module information

  1. Run the Windows CE Stress tool, but do not start a test.

    For information about starting the Windows CE Stress tool, see Running the Windows CE Stress Tool.

  2. Choose Show Options.

  3. Choose More Options, and then choose the Mixes and Modules tab.

  4. Choose Modules.

  5. In the Available Modules tree view, double-click on the module you want to modify.

  6. Choose Edit, and then follow the wizard to modify the module information.

  7. Finish the wizard, and then choose OK to save your changes.
