Microsoft Windows Media DRM 10 for Network Devices is a new protocol in the Windows Media digital rights management system that extends the reach of protected content to consumer electronic devices, such as Networked Media Devices (NMDs), that are connected to personal computers over home IP networks. Windows Media DRM 10 for Network Devices enables these devices to access protected content while enforcing the rights specified by the content owner in the Windows Media DRM license.
