Microsoft Japanese IME Speech Recognition Program

The Microsoft Japanese IME Speech Recognition Program component extends the Microsoft Japanese IME Core component to allow users to input Japanese language texts by speech through a microphone. In addition to speech recognition functionality, this component provides speech playback, text-to-speech, and voice recording functionalities.

Associated Components

This component does not include a speech recognition engine. You need to obtain the speech recognition engine separately from the Microsoft Windows XP Embedded product.

The Microsoft IME Speech Recognition Program is designed to work with the Microsoft IME Pad component. The Speech Recognition component also requires the Microsoft Japanese IME Core component.
