The Windows Update Agent for SUS 1.0 Servers component consists of the files required to use the Windows Update Web site, whether it is used within Internet Explorer or in the Help and Support Center. This component is also required in order to use the Code Download Manager (CDM) component.
This component includes the following files and applications.

| Iuengine.dll | Exposes a private interface for use by C++ applications such as CDM. It is also used as the implementation for many of the services provided by iuctl.dll. |
| Iuctl.dll | Exposes a scripting interface, which is used by DHTML hosted in Internet Explorer or the Help and Support Center. |
