In the Deployment Identification Settings section of configuration settings, you specify the logical identification of your target device.
The following table shows the properties that you can set.
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Device model identification | Specifies the device model identification for the run-time image. You can use it to identify device types during deployment and update. |
| Device role code | Specifies the numeric value that is used to identify the functional requirements of your device. The device role code and device model identification properties identify the device for the run-time image. |
| Device serial number | Specifies the serial number of the run-time image.
If you plan to assign serial numbers to the target system during the manufacturing process, do not enter information for this property. |
| Device license information | Specifies the licensing information for your run-time image.
If you plan to use a license for each target system rather than for each run-time image, do not enter information for this property. |
| Runtime OEM revision | Specifies the revision level that you assign to this run-time image. You can later identify the revision of run-time images when upgrading your target system. |
