Component Resources in Target Designer

After you add a component to a configuration, the resources of that component can be viewed, changed, or disabled by using Windows XP Embedded Target Designer. These resources are shown in the Files, Registry Data, and Resources nodes under the component node in the configuration editor. They include the files, registry data, dependencies, and custom resources of the component.

Note   If the Files, Registry Data, and Resources nodes do not appear under a component node in the configuration editor, choose the View menu, and verify that there is a check mark next to Resources. If there is not, choose Resources. If they still do not appear, the component is designed to be opaque and its resources are not viewable.
