The component browser in Windows XP Embedded Target Designer can be docked to its default location in the Windows XP Embedded Target Designer window or it can be undocked and moved anywhere on the screen.
To toggle the component browser between docked and undocked
When the component browser is docked, double-click the bar at the top of the component browser. The component browser becomes undocked and can be moved, resized, and closed like a standard window.

When the component browser is undocked, double-click the title bar of the Component Browser window. The component browser becomes docked to its default location.
