his method sets the sensor state. This method is called in response to a CSPROPERTY_CONNECTION_STATE request.

Syntax

DWORD PDD_SetSensorState( 
LPVOID PDDContext, 
ULONG ulModeType, 
CSSTATE CsState 
);

Parameters

  • LPVOID PDDContext
    [in]

    This is the return value of PDD_Init.

  • ULONG ulModeType
    [in]

    There are three modes supported, i.e., CAPTURE, PREVIEW and STILL

  • CSSTATE CsState
    There are three valid states: CSSTATE_STOP, CSSTATE_PAUSE, and CSSTATE_RUN.

Return Value

PDD specific. ERROR_SUCCESS represents success. Any other value will be treated as error.

Remarks

PDD_SetSensorState() is only called for Preview or Capture sensor modes. For Still sensor mode, PDD_TakeStillPicture is called.

Data will only be captured when state is CSSTATE_RUN.
