Features in Windows Embedded NavReady 2009
10/16/2008
Windows Embedded NavReady offers a set of features that you can implement to build a portable navigation device (PND), which provides location-aware services and which connects to other devices to make hands-free phone calls, stream music, and exchange data.
You can select Windows Embedded NavReady features in the Catalog and add them to an existing operating-system (OS) design. You can also build a new OS design based on one of three new design templates for portable navigation devices (PNDs). Each of these design templates provides a targeted subset of these features for different types of PNDs.
