This section provides an overview of the MSN Direct services development tools. These tools are available to you when you implement and test MSN Direct services on a Windows Embedded NavReady powered device. These tools consist of the MSN Direct receiver emulator, which is installed on a desktop PC and emulates the receipt of up-to-date data from the Microsoft DirectBand Network, and the MSN Direct sample application, which is downloaded to a Windows Embedded CE target device to display simulated data from the receiver emulator.
