Review ways to service your Unified Write Filter (UWF)-enabled Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry (Industry 8.1) device.
When a device is protected with Unified Write Filter (UWF), you can use UWF servicing mode commands to service the device and apply updates to an image. You can use servicing mode to apply Windows updates to your UWF-protected devices. You can also add support for antimalware updates to UWF-protected devices.
