Downloading the Run-Time Image to the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII) (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The following steps show you how to download a run-time image to the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII).
If the boot loader is already installed on the PXA27x and you have already built the run-time image, you can download the run-time image using Platform Builder for CE 6.0.
To download the run-time image to the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII)
Connect one end of the NULL modem cable to the COM port (BTUART) on the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII), labeled J47, and connect the other end of the NULL modem cable to the COM1 port on your development workstation.
On your development workstation, configure your terminal emulation software to the following settings:
Bits per second Data bits Parity Stop bits Flow control 38400
8
None
1
None
This enables you to see the debug output once you have downloaded the run-time image to your device.
Connect an available Ethernet cable to the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII).
From the File menu, choose:
**Open Project/Solution
From the **Open Project** dialog box, navigate to the debug or release directory in %\_WINCEROOT%\\OSDesigns\\\<project name\>\\Reldir and choose:
Nk.bin**
Configure a connection to the target device.

Once you have configured a connection to your target device, you may need to reset the device before the download process can begin.
From the Target menu, choose Attach Device.
A dialog box displays a progress indicator for the download. Click the Close button when the download is complete.
Verify that you have successfully downloaded an image to the Marvell PXA27x Processor Development Kit (MainstoneIII).
