MediaItem_t::OemExtensionUpnpItemAttribute (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)
1/5/2010
This method retrieves the request attribute of the MediaItem.
Syntax
bool OemExtensionUpnpItemAttribute (
const WCHAR* pAttributeName,
WCHAR* pBuffer,
int* pBufferLength,
unsigned long nIndex = 0
);
Parameters
- pAttributeName
The attribute to retrieve.
- pBuffer
The buffer to return the item attribute string in.
- pBufferLength
The pointer to the integer containing the buffer length. The buffer length is updated to return the actual length of item attribute requested.
- nIndex
This is an optional parameter. If the requested UPnP attribute has more than one value for an attribute, this gives a means to access all the values.
Return Value
The method returns a bool indicating success/failure of the operation. Possible values are:
Value | Description |
---|---|
TRUE |
The attribute is returned in the given buffer and the buffer length is updated. |
FALSE |
The requested attribute is not retrieved. Check GetLastError() value for more information about the cause behind the failure. |
Remarks
You can ask for the buffer length for a specific attribute by calling MediaItem_t::GetItemAttribute with pBuffer equals NULL and a valid pBufferLength.
