Interlaced Video Support (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

Interlaced video is now supported in Windows Embedded CE. However, you must check with the manufacturer of your display device driver to determine whether your driver supports this mode.

Interlaced video was tested on the Intel 854 platform. This platform requires updated display drivers, which are available from this Intel.

To enable interlaced video support, set the DDFLIP_ODD or DDFLIP_EVEN flag to allow an interlaced surface to flip the odd or even fields. For more information about these flags, see IDirectDrawSurface::Flip.

You can transfer data from the vertical blanking interval to the display hardware. For information, see VBI Renderer Filter.
