Suppressed and Ignored Functions (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

You can remove specified functions from the data that is displayed in Remote Call Profiler. You can also suppress or ignore a function. Your choice determines how Remote Call Profiler attributes the time spent executing the function.

The following table shows how the time for a function is attributed if you suppress the function.

Mode Time

Inclusive

Attributed to the calling function.

Exclusive

Not attributed to the calling function.

Application Inclusive

Transition events of the suppressed function and subroutines are attributed to the calling function.

You can ignore a function. Time spent in an ignored function and its subroutines is eliminated from all time calculations.
