This function retrieves the device information of the parent bus driver.

Syntax

BOOL GetParentDeviceInfo (
  HANDLE hBusAccess,
  PDEVMGR_DEVICE_INFORMATION pDeviceInfo
);

Parameters

hBusAccess
[in] Handle obtained from CreateBusAccessHandle.

pDeviceInfo
[out] Pointer to a DEVMGR_DEVICE_INFORMATION structure.

Return Value

Returns TRUE if successful. Otherwise, it returns FALSE.
