HWDeinit (Compact 2013)

This function de-initializes the hardware when a device driver is unloaded. It is called by the upper layer.

Syntax

BOOL HWDeinit(
  PVOID pContext 
);

Parameters

  • pContext
    [in] Pointer to a context structure returned by the HWInit function that contains implementation-specific data describing the device.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

This function is called when the device is no longer needed. It is typically called for when it is removed, but not for built-in devices.

This function supports the implementation of the lower layers of serial port drivers.
