Board Support Package Integration (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

The IDE provides many BSPs, including the CEPC. These BSPs appear as choices when you use the Windows Embedded CE OS Design Wizard to create an OS design.

You can create your own BSP and add it to an OS design. For example, you can create a BSP to support a specific hardware development.

When you create a BSP, you specify a collection of Catalog items that, when built, offer a default level of functionality for a run-time image.

If you want to integrate your BSP into the Windows Embedded CE OS Design Wizard, you can use the Catalog Editor to create a .pbcxml file that is associated with the BSP. Then you can add the .pbcxml file to the Catalog.
