This function increments a caller-supplied variable as an atomic operation.

Syntax

LONG NdisInterlockedIncrement(
  PLONG Addend
);

Parameters

  • Addend
    [in] Points to a variable of type LONG.

Return Value

Returns the incremented value.

Remarks

NdisInterlockedIncrement can safely be used on variables in pageable memory.

NdisInterlockedIncrement is atomic only with respect to other NdisInterlockedXXX calls.
