CBasePin::QueryDirection (Compact 2013)

Retrieves the direction of the pin.

Syntax

HRESULT QueryDirection(
  PIN_DIRECTION* pPinDir
);

Parameters

  • pPinDir
    Pointer to a PIN_DIRECTION structure to be filled in with the direction.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT value.

Remarks

This member function implements the IPin::QueryDirection method. pPinDir will contain PINDIR_INPUT or PINDIR_OUTPUT.

The same information is available through the CBasePin::QueryPinInfo member function, but this member function is more efficient.
