BTH_HCI_IOCTL_GET_BD_FOR_HANDLE (Compact 2013)

This I/O control message retrieves the address of a peer Bluetooth device associated with a connection handle. Send this message with DeviceIoControl.

Syntax

    DWORD dwIoControlCode,    // use BTH_HCI_IOCTL_GET_BD_FOR_HANDLE
    LPVOID lpInBuffer,        // pointer to input buffer
    DWORD nInBufferSize,      // input buffer size
    LPVOID lpOutBuffer,       // pointer to output buffer
    DWORD nOutBufferSize,     // output buffer size
    LPDWORD lpBytesReturned,  // number of bytes returned
    OVERLAPPED lpOverlapped   // pointer to OVERLAPPED structure
);

Parameters

  • hDevice
    The handle to the device.
  • dwIoControlCode
    [in] Control code for the operation. Use BTH_HCI_IOCTL_GET_BD_FOR_HANDLE for this operation.
  • lpInBuffer
    [in] Points to an unsigned short connection handle.
  • nInBufferSize
    [in] Set to 2.
  • lpOutBuffer
    [out] Points to the BD_ADDR structure that receives the address.
  • nOutBufferSize
    [out] Set to sizeof BD_ADDR.
  • lpBytesReturned
    [out] Equals nOutBufferSize.
  • lpOverlapped
    Ignored.
