In Windows Embedded Compact, you can create a point-to-point network connection from a device on an Ethernet network to the web by supporting Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).

Hardware and Software Requirements
- Minimal GWES configuration (SYSGEN_MINGWES). For more information, see GWES Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
