WriteClient (ISAPI Filters) (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The ISAPI filter calls this function to send data to the HTTP client. The WriteClient name for this function is a placeholder for the function name defined by the header.

Syntax

BOOL (WINAPI* WriteClient)(
  PHTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT pfc,
  LPVOID Buffer,
  LPDWORD lpdwBytes,
  DWORD dwReserved
);

Parameters

  • pfc
    [in] Pointer to an HTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT structure that is associated with the current, active HTTP transaction.
  • Buffer
    [in] Buffer containing data to send to the client.
  • lpdwBytes
    [in] Size of the buffer indicated by Buffer.
  • dwReserved
    [in] Reserved for future use.

Return Value

Returns TRUE if the function succeeds, and FALSE otherwise. To determine the cause of a failure, the filter should call GetLastError.
