This method sets the maximum length for passwords to be handled by this password box.
Syntax
virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE SetMaxLength(
int MaxLength
) = 0;
Parameters
- MaxLength
[in] An integer value that specifies the new maximum length, in characters, for passwords to be handled by this password box. A value of zero (0) means no limit.
Return Value
Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.
Remarks
The value that you pass in MaxLength only restricts the length of a password entered manually by the user. It does not affect programmatic manipulation of the password value.
