This method retrieves the masking character for this password box.
Syntax

Parameters
- pPasswordChar
[out] Pointer to a string that contains a single masking character to echo when the user enters text into this password box.
Return Value
Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.
Remarks
When the user enters text into a password box, the masking character specified by pPasswordChar is echoed in the password input field, instead of echoing the actual password itself. This helps prevent passwords from being exposed to casual observers when they are entered.
