IXRPolygon (Compact 2013)

3/28/2014

This class draws a polygon, a connected series of lines that form a closed shape.

Syntax

class IXRPolygon : public IXRShape

Inheritance Hierarchy

IXRDependencyObject

  IXRUIElement

    IXRFrameworkElement

      IXRShape

        IXRPolygon

Methods

In addition to the methods inherited from IXRShape, this class contains the following methods.

Name

Description

IXRPolygon::GetFillRule

Retrieves a value that indicates how the interior is filled by the polygon.

IXRPolygon::GetPoints

Retrieves a collection that contains the vertices of a polygon.

IXRPolygon::SetFillRule

Sets a value that specifies how the interior is filled by the polygon.

IXRPolygon::SetPoints

Sets a collection that contains the vertices of a polygon.

Thread Safety

Members of this class are thread-safe if you previously called IXRApplication::CreateHostFromXaml and supplied it with an XRWindowCreateParams structure that has AllowsMultipleThreadAccess set to true.

Remarks

An IXRPolygon object with only one point cannot render. An IXRPolygon can render if it contains a minimum of two points. However, you can achieve the same result as a two-point polygon by using IXRLine.

When you create a class instance, use an IXRPolygonPtr smart pointer instead of a raw interface pointer. For more information, see XRPtr<Interface>.

You can also define an IXRPolygon object in Microsoft Silverlight 3 XAML. For information about the differences between XAML in XAML for Windows Embedded and Silverlight 3, see Differences Between Microsoft Silverlight 3 and XAML for Windows Embedded. For more information about how to define this element in the source XAML for your application, see the Polygon Class on MSDN.
