The following table shows the XML DOM events, with a description of the purpose of each.

Programming element	Description
ondataavailable Event	Fires when new data is available.
onreadystatechange Event	Fires when the readyState method changes.
ontransformnode Event	Fires before the style sheet is applied to a node.
