Opening an Existing Plug-in Project (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

After you have installed the Microsoft Remote Tools Framework and then opened Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, you are now ready to open the Visual Studio 2005 solution (.sln) file containing a new or existing plug-in based on the framework.

Opening an existing plug-in project

  • To open the solution (.sln) file containing the plug-in, perform one of the following actions.

    Note

    Do not open the file by dragging it into Visual Studio 2005. This impacts the relative paths used for debugging.

    • In Visual Studio 2005, from the File menu, select Open, and then navigate to the .sln file that you want to open.
      - or -
    • Double-click on the .sln file.
