This C++ class represents a bitmap image that is used as a part of an application user interface (UI).

IXRBitmapImage::GetCreateOptions

Retrieves initialization options for bitmap images.

IXRBitmapImage::GetUriSource

Retrieves the Universal Resource Identifier (URI) of the graphics source file that contains the image that is represented by this IXRBitmapImage object.

IXRBitmapImage::SetCreateOptions

Sets initialization options for bitmap images.

IXRBitmapImage::SetUriSource

Sets the Universal Resource Identifier (URI) of the graphics source file that contains the image that will be represented by this IXRBitmapImage object.

Thread Safety

Members of this class are thread safe if you previously called IXRApplication::CreateHostFromXaml and supplied it with an XRWindowCreateParams structure that has AllowsMultipleThreadAccess set to true.

Remarks

You use this class for graphics source files in image formats such as JPEG, BMP, PNG, or any other image format that is supported in your OS design.

You can also define a bitmap image in Microsoft Silverlight 3. When you create a class instance, use an IXRBitmapImagePtr smart pointer instead of a raw interface pointer. For more information, see XRPtr<Interface>.
