Running the USB Stress Test (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

The following steps show you how to run the USB Stress test.

Procedure

To run the USB Stress test

  1. Download a runtime image to a CEPC that has the NetChip 2280 card installed.

  2. After the CEPC boots, at the command line, enter slufldrv. Then verify that LpBkCfg1.dll is loaded.

  3. Download a runtime image to the test platform that has the USB host controller installed.

  4. After the test platform boots up, make sure that the CEPC and the test platform are not connected by a USB cable.

  5. At the command line, enter stux -o -n -d_usbstress.

  6. When the test prompts you to do this, connect the CEPC to the test platform by using a USB cable. Within several seconds, the main body of the test begins.

Note

After all the tests have finished, if you want to run additional stress tests, you do not have to disconnect the USB cable. Instead, just type the test command, and the tests will run.
