WM_GETFONT (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This message is sent by an application to a control to retrieve the font with which the control is currently drawing its text.

Syntax

WM_GETFONT wParam = 0; 
    lParam = 0;

Parameters

  • wParam
    Not used.
  • lParam
    Not used.

Return Value

The return value is a handle to the font used by the control, or NULL if the control is using the system font.

Remarks

The WM_GETFONT message does not return a font handle if the message is sent to a dialog box created by the DialogBoxParam, DialogBoxIndirectParam, CreateDialogParam, or CreateDialogIndirectParam function.
