CacheType is a setting in the File-Based Write Filter (FBWF) package. It specifies how the overlay cache size is configured.

Values

Pre-allocated

Specifies that the FBWF overlay cache is set to a specific size.

Dynamic

Specifies that the FBWF overlay cache will be dynamically allocated.

Dynamic Compressed

Specifies that the FBWF overlay cache will be dynamically allocated and compressed to conserve space.
