This package should only be installed on devices that also include functionality such as Application Security, Credentials and Certificate Management, Network Access Protection, Windows Firewall, and so on, that helps to protect it from unauthorized access.

If your device does not require access to files shared from Unix-based computers, you can turn off NFS, to improve performance when browsing for network resources, by clearing the Services for NFS checkbox in the Windows Features dialog box, which is available by clicking Turn Windows features on or off from the Programs and Features item in Control Panel.
