RAS Server/PPTP Server (Incoming) Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables (Compact 7)
3/12/2014
In Windows Embedded Compact, you can provide functionality that the device uses to function as a Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) server by implementing support for Remote Access Service (RAS) Server and PPTP Server.
To support a device that functions as a PPTP client instead of as a PPTP server, see PPTP Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
For more information about how to add or remove catalog items, see Design Your First OS.
Hardware and Software Requirements
- Dial-up Networking (RAS/PPP) (SYSGEN_PPP). For more information, see Dial-up Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires Winsock (SYSGEN_WINSOCK) and TCP/IP (SYSGEN_TCPIP). For more information, see Winsock Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables and TCP/IP Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables
The following table describes the catalog items and associated SYSGEN variables you can use to add support for RAS Server/PPTP Server to your OS.
