Checking for Updates

6/1/2011

After you start using Microsoft URS data in your application, you will want to check Microsoft URS periodically to look for updated information. You can use the LastUpdated property or the Hash property to determine when data for a Utilities or a CustomerPlans resource has been updated.

Note

You cannot use the LastUpdated or Hash properties to determine when the Prices resource is updated, as the resource is recreated whenever a customer plan is updated.

Examples of updates include changes to pricing in existing CustomerPlans entries, outdated CustomerPlans entries being deprecated (Status set to Inactive), or the addition of new CustomerPlans entries.
