FBWF and Network Credentials (Standard 8)

Learn how to configure the Registry Filter for File-Based Write Filter (FBWF) to allow network credentials on your Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) device.

If the device environment includes Domain Participation or Terminal Services Client Access Licensing (TSCAL), add and configure Registry Filter.

To configure Registry Filter for FBWF 

  1. Disable File-Based Write Filter (FBWF).

  2. Enable Domain Participation.

  3. Enable TSCAL services.

  4. Confirm that Domain Participation and TSCAL services are operational.

  5. Enable FBWF.
