Create and Use a Configuration File (Standard 8)
7/8/2014
These lab exercises teach you how to create and deploy Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) images using a configuration file.
A configuration file file is an XML-based file that contains definitions and values that Image Builder Wizard (IBW) uses to install an OS on your device. You use ICE to create a configuration file that specifies the features, drivers, and languages to include in your OS image. A configuration file also stores setup options such as how to partition disks and the product key to apply when the OS image is installed.
