Begin an Installation with a Configuration File (Standard 8)

Review how to begin your Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) image wih a configuration file.
To use a configuration file to install Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) on your device, you must provide Image Builder with a catalog or a configuration set that contains the modules, drivers, language packs, and other files that are included in the configuration file. This section describes how to start the installation using a catalog or a configuration set.
Note
Standard 8 Setup performs several verifications that rely on the date and time settings of the device. For optimal performance, confirm that the device is set to the correct date and time.
